Summary
The Senior Data Analyst is a functional CMS data expert working in the US with others in multiple locations and offices. In this dynamic, fast paced environment, a successful individual will provide leadership and guidance to our dedicated data teams while assisting internal and external clients with troubleshooting of CMS data issues. The focus of this position is to provide expertise and content to our CMS Center of Excellence (COE) team in analyzing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines into an industry leading analytics platform for CMS data. You will be challenged to balance your functional and technical skills everyday. This is a great opportunity for a CMS subject matter expert to work regularly side by side with our executives, our clients, and industry leaders to produce better outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze CMS data with understanding of alternative payment models and CMS programs MSSP, ACO REACH (Formerly DCE) and BPCI-A.
  • Maintain knowledge and analytical insights of changes to CMS, and other government programs and performance reports.
  • Understanding of health systems, health plans or large IDNs.
  • Understanding of provider performance measurement.
  • Strong collaborative and team skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Assume primary responsibility for communication and resolution of client technical issues
  • Instruct the Data Operations team on how to correctly interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Act as a process champion, utilizing an in-depth knowledge of organization policies and operations processes
  • Ensure modules in our products meet the functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications of each client through ongoing performance monitoring of team members

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience performing analysis on CMS healthcare data
  • Experience creating datasets for CMS programs such as MSSP, DCE, or ACO REACH
  • Advanced skillset with SQL for data analysis and reporting
  • Cloud software experience; AWS and Redshift a plus
  • Extensive experience in and knowledge of the healthcare domain
  • Software development industry experience preferred, not required
  • Previous experience working with international teams and conducting meetings at all hours.
  • Prior experience preparing executive level reports and presenting in front of executives. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience
