Job Description
THE ROLE
The Senior Corporate Brand Manager will lead our corporate brand strategy, including management of our cross-portfolio hybrid house of brands, technology/ingredient brands and overarching brand architecture and governance. This role will lead and support the evolution of our corporate brand identity and help develop and establish powerful narratives through storytelling that articulate the distinctive value Oshkosh Corporation brings to its target audiences including investors, team members, prospective team members, customers, media, civic leaders, communities and suppliers to improve brand health and positively influence the Oshkosh stock price and multiple. This role will also have oversight of our corporate content, design, social media, trade shows and website to ensure consistency across channels. Brand research will be executed every 18-months to measure awareness, consideration, preference and loyalty to gauge the success of our corporate brand initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: strong corporate and product branding and communications skills, superior collaboration skills across functional areas to ensure brand messages are delivered with relevance and impact, strategic thinking, ability to manage multiple, high-profile projects with strict attention to detail, outstanding organization and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple agency partners and budgets simultaneously to deliver work on time and within budget.

YOUR IMPACT
Establish corporate brand architecture and governance guidelines and ensure that we are brand consistent across the company and its business units.
Leverage research and other key data and analytics to develop insights that improve our approach and our respective performance with each stakeholder audience.
Develop our corporate brand story and the respective business unit stories ensuring connectivity and relevance based on understanding our key audiences.
Leverage the power of video, case studies, and media to ensure our stories are being told with impact and interest through owned and paid media.
Partner with the global branding and communications team to further evolve our content, event, website, and design strategies.
Work with business unit stakeholders to explore corporate campaigns and how to activate them in an impactful way to build awareness at the business unit level.
Help construct our content strategy; incorporating a content curation strategy to support an always-on approach.
Develop and establish governance criteria for external event participation including ROI analysis to justify attendance.
Push our design boundaries to ensure we are creatively expressing our brand promise in a memorable way.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
10+ years of corporate brand management experience.
Strong knowledge of brand architecture and governance, website design, website information architecture, event management and ROI substantiation, content strategy, and a flair for design across various mediums and applications.
Excellent data analytics capabilities and business analysis.
Experience with brand tracking platforms.
Understanding of how to evolve a corporate brand from both a market leader and challenger perspective.
Great management experience - can lead and inspire a team.
Understand how to justify brand strategies and how to quantify the impact.
Self-driven with a natural curiosity to test and improve tactics and processes.
Expert project management skills
Ability to present marketing campaigns, budget requests/justification and results.
Endorser brand strategy experience.
Brand health research experience.
Advanced user Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong portfolio showing a variety of brand work.
Agency, budget and partner management.
A recognition of the value of doing things the right way; has a high sense of integrity.

MBA in marketing or related field.

Sitecore – Working knowledge.
