Senior Data & Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)

We hit $1M ARR in January of 2023, and just surpassed $3M ARR in June 📈.

Technologies we work with:

• Ruby on Rails
• React
• Typescript
• Redis, PostgreSQL, and SQL

Ideally you will have:

• Experience building out ETL/ELT flows and data pipelines
• Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code using Cloudformation, Terraform, CDK
• Deep knowledge and experience with at least one columnar data store - i.e. Redshift, ClickHouse, Snowflake or similar
• Experience deploying and maintaining workflow management tools like Airflow 
• Experience with instrumentation and observability tools like Datadog, Newrelic or Honeycomb
• Experience with SQL databases (ideally postgres) and optimizing their performance and schemas. 
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 in data engineering or infrastructure.

Nice to have:

• Experience building analytics pipelines and funnels
• Proficient in AWS best practices and IAM. 
• Experience working with data lakes 

What you will be responsible for

• Help us scale our data processing and architecture for both internal use and end users as we continue to double in size and volume every few months
• Architecting systems that allow beehiiv to provide best in class analytics and segmentation for our users, turning billions of monthly events into actionable insights and reports for email publishers and advertisers.
