Senior DevOps Engineer

Striim is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is seeking for an opportunity to make an impact for our Pivot to SaaS initiative. We are leveraging the latest technologies (Microservices/Kubernetes/Golang/GCP/Azure/AWS) and bringing more value to our customers via Realtime Data Streaming.

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the reliability, SLA, customer support, contribute to a secure, reliable, and highly available infrastructure in a rapidly changing environment. You will build, deploy, and monitor software to ensure that the system’s capacity and performance are adherent to SLAs.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in programming, system operations & latest distributed systems.
• Programming skills in any language (Polyglot Preferred) and Agile Methodologies
• Proficient in leveraging CI and CD tools such as spinnaker / argocd / tectoncd /jenkins to automate testing and deployment.
• 1+ year experience in handling Production Systems in the cloud
• Require Golang / Java / Python / Groovy / Nodejs
• Should thrive working in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other engineers
• Must have Cloud platform Knowledge in AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Must have Cloud networking knowledge in VPC, NATs, and routers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high performance distributed systems
• A background in database systems, specifically internals and transaction processing experience with real time event processing
