Job Title: Senior Director, Client Leadership
Location: Chicago, IL
Duties: Manage the execution of full-scale custom research studies for strategic local and global clients. Provide business insights that matter to our clients, managing multiple project teams and developing issue-focused analyses. Lead client interactions on a day-to-day basis (Pharma, Financial Services, CPG, Sustainable Transformation), proactively address client needs, provide thought leadership and solving business problems that drive client satisfaction. Lead regular client check-ins. Conduct high volume quantitative marketing research studies. Craft compelling stories, translate data into insights that address key client issues and present to the client in a straight-forward way. Support the US Central regional leadership team with pod management and planning. Manage and train direct report(s). Career development. Coaching. Support to US Central Leadership with talent development, hiring and planning. Support performance review process in the region. Provide coaching and advisory support to junior members on client engagement and the creation and execution of client deliverables including resource management across the team. Develop team to provide exceptional client consultation. Share category knowledge (Pharma, Financial Services, Sustainable Transformation) with other team members. Manage the relationship with our Prague office for our Pharma client in order to facilitate our ability to increase our operating profit on copy testing projects. Monitor and deliver against specific account revenue targets (approx. $4 million in revenue). Plan and forecast future revenue across client accounts. Develop annual account, client retention, and strategy plans to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with a set group of clients, conducting strategic account planning and execution for client accounts. Assist with defining strategy, goals, and objectives for quantitative research studies for assigned accounts, and partner with new business development teams on new opportunities, identifying cross/up and repeat sales opportunities. Support the launch and development of North America Sustainable Transformation Practice as part of a cross-functional Kantar team from across the United States Kantar offices. Assist in creating Kantar’s thought leadership in ESG (social impact and sustainability). Support client and new business development teams at pitching ESG research solutions to Kantar’s clients across the country. Role supervises one Associate Client Leadership. Some domestic travel is required. Remote work from home office permitted.
Work Schedule: 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or related Social Sciences field and 2 years of consulting experience conducting high volume quantitative marketing research studies.
Skills Required: Must have two (2) years experience with each: conducting marketing research and statistical analysis, related to brand tracking, advertising effectiveness, and marketing analytics; developing and maintaining client relationships, proactively delivering on agreed KPIs; using IBM SPSS Data Collection Survey Reporter to analyze data; guiding junior members in conducting quantitative marketing research studies, including analyzing marketing research data and developing insights to inform clients’ decisions; and designing and delivering solution training to new team members, including sales materials, operational process, design techniques, analysis techniques, PPT storytelling/data design techniques, and presentation delivery skills.

The salary range for this role in Illinois is $114,800-191,300. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
