Position Summary
As the leader of the organization-wide, cross-functional S&OP process, the Senior Director, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) plays a critical role bridging commercial needs with operational capabilities and is ultimately responsible for developing accurate and feasible depletions, billings, and shipment plans over the mid-to-long term horizon for the entire Beer Division. Collaboration with senior leaders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Growth, Operations and Distributor partners is critical to success in this role. The Sr. Director, S&OP will be responsible for setting the evolving strategy and vision for S&OP transformation, developing a comprehensive strategic plan which will drive optimal customer service and profitability for the entire Beer Division.
Responsibilities:
Architect and lead of the Beer Division End to End (E2E) S&OP process steps, spanning cross- functional teams and its effective application across the business to drive consensus decision making to maximize performance against organizational strategic objectives and deliver optimal results.
Lead the S&OP planning team in delivering a consensus, mid to long term end to end operating plan via utilization of driver based commercial data and input, distributor planning collaboration, total network design, strategic supply strategy and operational effectiveness.
Maintain and drive effective governance and process discipline bringing awareness to opportunities to maximize EBIT, cash-flow and market share performance through effective gap management across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance.
Identifies and drives opportunities to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of supply chain planning supporting cost, service, and quality initiatives and drives process improvement initiatives to successful completion.
Help articulate and implement the future state digital S&OP vision, processes, products and capabilities.
Directs functional planning teams, coaches for improved performance, fosters professional development and diversity, and drives to key departmental objectives.
Drives metric driven process, reviews performance results, and works with peers and team to drive KPI improvements (i.e., forecast performance, inventory, service, cost, etc.)
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University majoring in supply chain, finance, engineering, or a business-related field or equivalent working experience. MBA preferred.
Extensive experience across Sales and Operations planning, inclusive of portfolio planning, demand, supply planning and executive S&OP steps of the process.
10+ years’ experience in Planning, Finance, Optimization, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, Production roles, preferably within CPG organizations
Deep understanding of technology enablement and current technology tools (i.e. o9, Blue Yonder, SAP)
Comfortable with process discipline and process adherence, and able to identify and take opportunities to develop, further and strengthen a process.
Leadership experience managing a team of professionals required.
High level of business acumen is required, including the knowledge and ability to have an E2E holistic perspective.
Drives change and engages with others to turn the vision into action.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills thru the ability to build rapport, understanding and trust with all key stakeholders through ongoing dialogue and delivering results.
Expert within conflict management. Understands organizational “hot spots” and focuses diverse groups on common organizational outcomes. Fosters productive dialogue and manages high-tension situations with diplomacy and tact to maintain credibility and influence.
Solid, straightforward, and professional oral and written communication skills, including presenting data and analysis clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience in collaboration/team dynamics demonstrating the ability to work with teams of people with disparate opinions and agendas to develop common outcomes, strategies and plans. Builds sense of team goals, focusing team toward those ends while balancing trade-offs in each stakeholder community.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment

The salary range for this role is:
$147,100.00 - $240,000.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
