As Senior Software Development Manager of our AI Experiences team you’ll be leading a highly skilled group of applied scientists, software developers and machine learning engineers building out the next generation of rich media experiences for our customers. Built upon computer vision and advanced machine learning technologies our artificial intelligence tools generate novel experiences that drive our websites.

About the role

As the Senior Software Development Manager, you will have a key role in managing a dynamic integrated science and engineering team that makes a significant impact with its contributions. Working directly with Product & Design, you’ll help drive the creation of primary features leveraged by both customers and operations teams every day. This role requires knowledge and understanding of artificial intelligence, deep learning, computer vision and high scalability high performance software engineering. In this role you’ll be constantly looking for ways to deliver new innovative customer experiences and optimize our production pipelines.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $191,000.00 - $305,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

Must have

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• At least 5+ years of full-time experience and very high proficiency programming in JavaScript, Python, C# or similar languages.

• At least 5+ years in a management or tech lead role demonstrating a passion for mentoring and growing the potential of others.

• Demonstrated success with large machine learning projects.

• A proven track record of leading successful high productivity teams.

• Collaborative working style with a strong focus on well-adapted execution and results.

• Iterative approach to software development combined with the commitment to ownership, moving fast and thinking big.

• Real passion for great engineering, demonstrated through experience and depth and breadth of knowledge.
