Senior Event Producer, EA SPORTS

This encompasses all our amazing games and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, FIFA, Apex Legends, Battlefield 2042, and It Takes Two. The Global Events Team is looking for an experienced Senior Event Producer who will report to the Global Events Lead, EA SPORTS. You will lead the strategy, planning and production of high-value in-person and digital events to support our EA SPORTS franchise brands and campaign goals. You will plan premium, safe, immersive and engaging events for guests ranging from press to partners and beyond. We are looking for advanced, mature communication skills in addition to expert project management skills that can collaborate with multiple partners.

Responsibilities

  • Create and align event plans in partnership with global, remote teams including Brand, Strategy, Integrated Communications, Studio and Security.
  • Manage digital event platforms and technology.
  • Manage a matrix of vendors including creative and video production, streaming partners, transportation and hospitality, AV, Studio and security.
  • Ensure EA's events are accessible and inclusive to all audiences.
  • Facilitate attendee communications and guest experience touch points including event attendee logistics (Know Before You Go) and registration.
  • Negotiate and review contracts, acting as the point of contact for event vendors and internal partners, such as Legal and Finance.
  • Oversee budget tracking of $1M+ to lead operational efficiency, while meeting event goals and target metrics
  • Manage event plans and design assets through internal approval process.
  • Research new event experiences and concepts.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in event production, marketing or program management.
  • Viewed as a solid, influential and respected partner who is experienced at collaborating across teams and with senior executives.
  • Demonstrate personal drive with the ability to contribute reflective thinking, navigate tough situations and present creative solutions
  • Solid understanding of event platforms, broadcast and technology
  • Full-cycle project management experience leading large scale, global events
  • Experience overseeing project budgets, invoices and contracts
  • Expert at negotiating vendor and agency contracts
  • Ability to work with numerous remote colleagues and across many different departments within the company and across the globe.
  • Entertainment, sports, and/or gaming and industry knowledge
  • Eligible to travel globally, able to work irregular hours, and able to work outdoors with variable weather condition

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $95,450 - $141,800

  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):

º $89,200 - $141,800•

Jersey City, NJ:

º $105,250 - $141,800

  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):

º $89,200 - $118,550

  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

º $89,200 - $130,750

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
