Votre mission
We are seeking for a highly analytical and forward-looking FP&A Analyst to support and scale the strategic financial planning and analysis activities of our dermo-cosmetics line of business. This includes business partnering with Division owners on the performance monitoring and management of two brands across all revenue channels (Professionals, Retailers, Direct-to-Consumers, Amazon, Pure Players).
This role reports to the Senior Manager FP&A, has a direct exposure to the CFO and entails a close partnership with leaders across the organization and decision-making teams, including Brand directors, Account leads and the Consumer Engagement and Activation Office. This is a newly created role and an opportunity to join a growing Finance Team and have a 360-degree view of the Skin Care/Hair care business in an omnichannel setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary Business Finance partner/consultant for the Skin Care/Hair Care division
  • P&L Co-ownership => Develop, and maintain the P&L Forecasting, annual Budgeting, and periodic long term Strategic Planning for the division, along with scenario and trend analysis
  • Build, own and execute the Financial Planning and Analysis activities for the division in close collaboration with the Business stakeholders
  • Develop, and maintain the Gross-To-Net and net margin analysis and planning for the division, for all revenue channels
  • Report, analyze business results versus plan, projections, and prior year while assessing Risks and Opportunities for the division
  • Partner with Accounting and the Account Leads monthly to ensure revenue reconciliations, expenses, and accruals of the division are performed and captured accurately during the close (retailer billbacks, marketing coops, others)
  • Prepare reports (revenue and operating expenses) and provide insights on the division results to various key stakeholders monthly (Business stakeholders, Senior Management, Corporate FP&A team and other Global teams)
  • Build and deliver presentations to Senior Management and key leadership teams across the organization that include business performance, market assessments, competitive reviews, and other industry and business-related insights and summaries
  • Challenge the status quo and seek continuous incremental improvements on existing processes throughout the organization

Professional Experience and Personal Qualities
  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant finance roles (Big 4 experience or financial planning and analysis role at a Retail or CGP company preferred)
  • In-depth understanding of Accounting Standards that impact our financial model and budget forecasts
  • Proven experience developing financial models in Excel
  • Proven business partnering skills. We are looking for a business translator! with the ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate data to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations to the Business stakeholders
  • Strong ability to thrive in a matrix organization and work well on cross-functional teams
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Retail or CGP industry experience preferred
  • Experience in financial reporting systems (e.g., Hyperion & SAP) and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Power Pivot) a plus

Work Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work:
  • The normal working hours of the office are from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • This position is currently a hybrid role.
