Job Summary:

PPC a Belden Brand is currently seeking a Senior Global Planner. This role is responsible for the accurate production planning based upon forecasting and customer demands. The senior global planner reports directly to the Director of Global Planning and is based out of Syracuse NY and has the option for a hybrid schedule.

You will make an impact in the following way:

• Manage all supply chain aspects of production planning across multiple facilities.
• Develop Master Production Schedule based on current forecast, material available, and taking into account available capacity and any production constraints.
• Manage exceptions for any plant, where current plan cannot meet all demand with available capacity or when ending inventory falls below allowed safety stock.
• Perform data driven analysis including extracting information from SAP and working with excel spreadsheets or other data analytics tools.
• Reviews customer order records and problem solves backorder issues
• Develop and implement systems and processes for production planning and scheduling involving cross functional teams across different PPC plants.
• Assess current production planning processes and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Responsible for meeting OTD and Inv Turns KPI#s for the product categories in charge.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Eight (8) or more years of related experience.
• Experience with SAP/ ERP.
• APICS knowledge preferred.
• Proficient analyzing and working with data thru MS excel.
• Customers Define our Success - Customer Service experience preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
