Our data is powered by nearly 60 million households from America's #1 Grocer, Kroger, and 2+ billion transactions across brick-and-mortar and ecommerce. We bring this customer data together with advanced analytics and research to drive sales growth and customer loyalty for both Kroger and our more than 1,400 Insights clients. We are constantly innovating to improve the value of our solutions. This includes advancement of our flagship subscription tool, 84.51° Stratum, ad-hoc research and analytics solutions, and expanding the ways in which our clients can access and engage with our data.

We are seeking a Senior Insights Account Manager who will help us to build the team and business for the future. Candidates must have a strong acumen for connecting data and insights to tell stories, a desire to solve problems, and a passion for building and growing client relationships. They must also demonstrate a growth mindset, adaptability in the workplace, and knowledge of the retail and consumer goods industry.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Senior Insights Account Manager, your primary clients are our CPG partners, many of whom are from the top of the Fortune 100. You will be responsible for delivering against revenue targets by partnering with a portfolio of CPG clients who engage with us to translate data and insights into strategy. You are expected to build strong, trusting relationships with these CPG stakeholders across category management, brand, consumer insights, ecommerce and advanced analytics to strengthen, deepen and broaden our partnerships in a way that unlocks different budget sources.

This is a revenue-generating role, grounded in deep focus on relationship building and insights value creation. Our insights solutions support a range of CPG business needs, including merchandising excellence, omnichannel insights, new product innovation, brand and marketing strategy, and shopper trends.

You are therefore responsible for maximizing the value our clients receive from long-term investment in 84.51° Stratum to influence their business decisions across these spaces, both at Kroger and corporately. This involves understanding clients' business needs to effectively train them within the 84.51° Stratum tool and consult them in successfully leveraging the data. Additionally, you are responsible for connecting client business questions with our ad-hoc consumer research, advanced analytics and technology-based capabilities to propel their business forward. This includes owning the selling cycle and developing sales proposals – requested and proactive – that showcase the 84.51° insights difference, highlight our robust first-party data and align recommended insights solutions to client needs. Post-sale, you'll continue to focus on driving value for clients by partnering with internal cross-functional teams to help execute and deliver a relevant, actionable insights project that meets clients' expectations and committed deadlines.

Because we are a highly cross-functional team, you will actively partner with data scientists and product management to these deliver industry-leading solutions to our clients, as well as to provide ongoing client feedback that will help inform our product roadmap to continue bringing industry-leading solutions to market.


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 - 4 years of relevant client-facing sales experience
  • Shopper Data & Insights Solutions (preferred experience with 84.51° data & insights, but not required)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred but not required)
