Senior iOS Software Engineer- Continuous Configuration

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Continuous Configuration team, you will be responsible for the software that our customers interact with every day. You will create experiences that allow users to configure their systems in order to get the best out of their listening experiences. You will bring joy to customers by helping them solve and avoid problems. You will work on our iOS apps on a multidisciplinary, agile team.

What You’ll Do

Create technical designs for and implement features in the Sonos iOS apps.
Design and Implement framework components and integrate with various SDKs and mobile platforms.
Collaborate with software engineers, PM, QA and UX to design and deliver unique, innovative new features that delight our customers.
Participate in the team process, using Agile methodologies to adapt and continuously improve.
Mentor your teammates in best practices for developing software.

What You’ll Need

Basic Qualifications

You have experience programming for iOS in Swift.
You have contributed to an app that is available in AppStore.
You enjoy investigating issues and solving problems.
You have taken ambiguous problems and broken them down into smaller technical tasks.
You have used common source code control systems (e.g. git).
Your written and verbal communication skills are strong.
You have a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline OR relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

You may be experienced in the latest mobile UI development, such as SwiftUI
You may have experience generating unit and automation testing.
You may be experienced with performance tuning mobile applications.
You may have exposure to Cloud, iOS, or Firmware Development.
You may be knowledgeable in asynchronous development, networking, or bluetooth

At Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience. All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity. Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions. The starting base pay for this role for all US candidates is between:

$134,000 and $164,340

Please note that compensation details listed in US job postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
