Senior Manager, Customer Marketing (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced and strategic individual to join OpenTable’s B2B Marketing team to bring that to life. As a Sr. Manager of Customer Marketing - Email Strategy & Execution, you will own the B2B email channel, and lead a team charged with strategizing, developing, and flawlessly implementing effective email communication strategies to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention of OpenTable. You will also own various aspects of Customer Marketing including customer advocacy and cross-channel alignment for go-to-market campaigns.


As the perfect candidate, you will have a multi-disciplinary background including marketing, business strategy, and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of teaming up to lead, influence, and collaborate cross-functionally. You are a seasoned leader who can inspire and quickly build trust within your team and won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo among other key partners. You are a big-picture thinker and strong problem solver who can take hands-on action to get results across multiple channels. You will be expected to implement strategies and optimize email performance to align with business goals, while growing and developing individuals. Above all else, you will enjoy being part of a fast-paced company that gets to serve the hospitality industry. 

 

In this role, you will: 


  • Partner closely with the Director of Customer Marketing to develop multi-channel strategies to onboard, engage, and retain customers
  • Lead, manage, and develop an impactful team of email marketers to increase engagement and retention of OpenTable’s customer base, including early lifecycle education, product adoption and nurture, and loyalty programs to increase engagement, reduce churn, and complete prospect emails
  • Partner with product marketing to build customer knowledge of the suite of our product’s capabilities, with a focus on positioning, go-to-market plans, and sales enablement to drive adoption and grow demand of our products
  • Build a world-class email marketing team, establishing processes and strong data-driven results that correspond to OpenTable’s company goals
  • As a shared service, you will partner with the Director of Acquisition to implement our prospect email strategy

 

Please apply if: 


  • 7+ years of professional experience required, with at least 4 years in B2B marketing
  • Experience with email channel ownership and marketing channel optimization
  • Experience launching automated email nurture campaigns and experience with marketing automation tools such as Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, etc.
  • Strategically evaluate individual and team contributions and implement flawlessly
  • Understanding of essential performance drivers and experience turning insights into successful tactics
  • Strong analytical skills to identify data insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to multiple non-technical audiences

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $100,000-130,000. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
