To help us succeed in this mission, we’re seeking a senior level manager to coach and develop our Implementation professionals to provide a world-class client onboarding experience.
Paycor’s Senior Manager, Implementation, will be responsible for overseeing the development, delivery, and maintenance of Python and Automation Anywhere based software solutions. Your primary focus will be to ensure the successful execution of projects, promote collaboration among team members, drive the team's technical excellence, and ensure blockers are cleared. This is a key leadership role that requires experience with the SDLC, familiarity with Agile development methodologies, exceptional management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of developers and Business Analysts, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure their professional growth and success. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Coordinate project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project completion. Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Facilitate regular team meetings, status updates, and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Resource Management: Assess team capacity and workload, allocating resources effectively to ensure optimal productivity. Identify skill gaps and training needs within the team, coordinating with internal and external resources to address them. Collaborate with stakeholders to define resource requirements for upcoming projects and initiatives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the implementation of robust software development practices, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and adherence to coding standards. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team, emphasizing bug-free, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements, priorities, and expectations. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and challenges. Manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and proactively seek feedback to drive satisfaction.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and recognize team members' achievements. Set individual and team goals, aligning them with organizational objectives. Identify training and professional development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and capabilities
Requirements
Four-year degree
At least 3-5 years management experience, technology implementation experience preferred
Payroll and/or HCM software knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for project facilitation
Excellent leadership and motivational skills; must excel at providing direction, motivating, and coaching to direct reports and be visible with front line managers and associates
Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated proficiency with complex technology
Ability to adapt to change and a rapidly growing environment
Flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs with short turnaround
Strong analytical skills

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $98,370-$167,946. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
