You will focus on managing the delivery of customer training delivery program for the Americas region.
We are comprised of technical trainers who have diverse levels of product knowledge and course development expertise.
You'll mostly provide direction to team members, handle course delivery schedules, work with the Sales teams and Channel to scope and deliver paid engagements for our customers and maintain a high customer satisfaction rating for the courses.
What will you do?
  • Establish the course delivery and curriculum strategy and schedule.
  • Enable Sales via direct customer interaction.
  • Lead a highly talented and motivated team.
  • Work across multiple groups and business units.
Core Responsibilities:
Managing People (35% of time)
Management duties of exempt and/or nonexempt level staff include but are not limited to:
  • Establishing quarterly goals and managing attainment
  • Conducting performance evaluations,
  • Approving paid time-off (PTO)
  • Assigning or delegating work
  • Providing on-the-job training
  • Giving mentorship to staff
  • Conducting performance improvement plans,
  • Taking disciplinary action when necessary
  • Interviewing external and internal talent for open opportunities.
  • Producing team and individual training and development to ensure core competencies are achieved.
  • Conducting scheduled team meetings.
  • Leading regularly scheduled one-on-ones with employees.
Managing Customer Training Delivery (25% of time)
  • Ensure appropriate proactive scheduling of personnel and resources to assure required classes are successfully delivered on schedule.
  • Interact effectively with customers to scope and set course delivery priorities for custom and existing offerings.
  • Work with Sales Managers and Directors to forecast enrollments and revenue.
  • Responsible for team and individual training and development ensuring core instructor competencies are achieved and maintained to fulfill course delivery.
  • Work with team on continuous process improvement to maintain high quality of courseware and delivery tools.
  • Work with Training lab managers to ensure adequate training lab resources are available.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Current knowledge of services delivery processes and revenue tracking.
  • Formal training in adult education, instructional design, or communication desired.
  • Show us proven interpersonal (time management and prioritization) skills.
  • Provide proven project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Self-motivation, self-direction and thinking creatively both in an individual situation as well as in team brainstorming opportunities.
  • Must be capable of comprehending technical information about our products, technologies, market space, and be able to communicate that information effectively to customers and coworkers.
How do you qualify?
  • Showcase 8 years’ experience delivering highly technical instructor led classes or professional services.
  • Hold a BA/BS in telecommunications, business, computer science, or engineering or have equivalent experience.
  • 1 - 3 years management experience in technical training or professional services required.
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience utilizing technical courseware for different delivery modes

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $125,825.00 - $188,737.00
F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
