Job Description:


The Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) mission is to safeguard the United States and its allies from global Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) threats by integrating, synchronizing, and providing expertise technologies and capabilities across all operating environments. The Nuclear Enterprise Directorate (NE) capabilities are to develop, improve, and promulgate nuclear safety, security, accountability, control, reliability, emergency/disaster response/recovery, training, transportation and storage, infrastructure, related technologies and research activities to U.S. and allied/partner forces, and U.S Federal, and allied/partner governmental organizations. This position supports DTRA/NE.

Typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. The position may supervise other mission-oriented personnel. This Performance Requirement includes: Developing marketing, training, event, and official photography and videography; Performing professional quality graphic editing to products using Adobe Creative Suite and WACOM Cintiq Display; Creating flyers, catalogs, posters, course logos, display sign slides, and banners; Performing mock journalist interviews with students at in-house or on-site training locations; Maintaining all Defense Nuclear Weapon School (DNWS) equipment pertaining to media and graphics (camera, media studio plotters, photo printers, etc.); Maintaining DNWS photo boards; Managing DNWS official social media websites (Facebook or other future social media venues; Identifying and planning upgrades to media equipment, providing Government Information Technology (IT) representative with all information pertaining to required products in preparation for DTRA Chief Information Officer (CIO) approval and procurement.




Job Requirements:


DOD SECRET (or TOP SECRET) security clearance is required.

10 years of demonstrated experience performing the Requirement and a MA/MS degree; or, 15 years of demonstrated experience performing the Requirement and a BA/BS.

Demonstrated experience in graphics, photography and videography, and social media utilizing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and WACOM Cintiq Display.

Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office desired.

Applicants should have highly developed interpersonal skills permitting productive interaction with technical and non-technical professionals.

Applicants must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Position is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
