Senior Product Manager - AI

Who is Credible?

We are a marketplace where users can compare personalized, prequalified rates and quotes from multiple lenders and carriers, for student loans, mortgages, personal loans, and insurance.

We're challenging the status quo by giving power to the consumer. We believe in a world where 'ethical', 'lending', and 'insurance' can coexist, so we set out to build innovative platforms that actually work for customers. Our mission is to help people find the best loan or insurance policy possible.

We believe researching and buying loans or insurance shouldn't be confusing or complex, so we've focused on simplicity. We've created the only unbiased loan and insurance buying process out there, which makes finding options straightforward and clear.

About the Role:

Credible is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our central AI-focused team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI capabilities and transforming the way we serve our users. We're looking for an individual who has a passion for AI, a deep understanding of user needs, and a strong track record of delivering impactful products.

In this high visibility role, you will lead a cross-functional team to develop and execute Credible's AI strategy, working closely with product management leadership, data science, engineering, marketing, business intelligence, and other stakeholders across the company.

The role is full-time and compensation will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • AI Strategy Development: Leverage data, user research, competitive and market analysis to define and execute Credible's AI strategy and roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables and long-term vision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the AI strategy with the company's overall business goals
  • AI Product Development: Develop new AI-powered experiences, from inception to launch. This includes defining requirements, working closely with the data science and engineering teams, managing project execution, and iterating on new features and products post-launch
  • AI Capability Building: Provide thought leadership on AI technologies, and work across the organization to help teams leverage AI capabilities to improve our products and operational processes. This includes conducting training, developing tools and processes, and advocating for AI best practices. You will own the company-wide AI technology stack with a goal to reduce barriers to prototyping and production deployment
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including business teams, data scientists, engineers, product managers, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment on objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of AI initiatives. Use data to inform decision-making, prioritize efforts, and communicate progress and results to stakeholders

Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field
  • 5+ years product management experience, including 2+ years recent experience defining and shipping successful AI-powered products, particularly leveraging NLP, ML, generative AI, or related AI technologies
  • Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross-functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources and work from other groups, and guide the team through key milestones
  • Ability to manage high levels of ambiguity, defining a roadmap for uncharted opportunities employing nascent technologies
  • Capable of translating a big vision into bite-size milestones with a lean-experiment-oriented perspective
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
