What you’ll own:
  • Responsible for roadmapping and feature development for your team, including prioritizing and setting the outcomes with your team based on the business unit and product strategy. Facilitate engineering, product design, product marketing, and other cross-functional team members through problem-solving to create innovative solutions that are viable, desirable, and feasible.
  • Test and define viable value propositions; recommend business models, pricing, and GTM strategies to optimize economic rents; deliver return on investment assessments and articulate near and long-term commercialization plans.
  • Partner with the GTM team to make experiences more impactful; manage releases and drive product launches in collaboration with GTM partners; help teams understand our business model and GTM strategy.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customers and their needs using both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Partner across functions to drive customer behavior research and identify viable opportunities to improve the experience.
  • Support Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams with customer issues; partner to establish and track product adoption, growth, and retention plans.
  • Develop clear business requirements, scenarios, user stories, and acceptance criteria to drive delivery and validation.
  • Launch new products, features, and enhancements that address customer and business needs, testing their performance and iterating quickly.
  • Prioritize discovery and delivery efforts based on user research, market/industry trends, and business goals; distill the roadmap into workable chunks.
  • Analyze the impact of the product on key business outcomes; measures financial impact
  • Design experiments to test tradeoffs between business value, user experience, and technology constraints
  • Collaborate in technical decisions; influence end-state architecture driving secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions
  • Evangelize the product and roadmap within the company and with customers; generate buy-in through effective storytelling with senior leaders and executives
  • Facilitate workshops to help groups organize around problems
  • Help the team reflect and improve on how they work; mentor other product managers; champion product excellence
Experience you’ll need:
  • 8+ years of professional experience (or 6+ with a master’s degree) and 5+ years of product management or related experience shipping products to market, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Domain knowledge related to analytics and data management. Specifically a deep understanding of analytics concepts, methodologies, and techniques including statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with data storage technologies, such as relational databases, data lakes, and cloud based storage, is beneficial. Experience with data integration methods, including APIs is critical, as is an understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Extensive experience working with cross-functional Agile teams composed of Engineers and Product Designers.
  • Experience using analytical skills to gather, surface, and interpret user data to help drive decision making.
  • Strong experience with product management and development tooling e.g. JIRA, AHA, Pendo, Git, Etc.
  • Experience dealing with internal and external team members spread across the world.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and collaboration skills including the ability to gather, organize, share and orient multiple groups around an objective.
  • Experience in engineering management methodologies and the software development lifecycle is a bonus. Curiosity about it is absolutely required, as is curiosity around emerging technologies and industry trends in analytics like AI/ML/NLP.
