We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who will be responsible for leading the planning and launch of software products as part of our NextGen PACS system. This role will lead junior to mid-level members of the Product Management team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the product strategy for medical imaging application(s), including roadmap, customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, and pricing
- Facilitate product definition and design by gathering product requirements for radiology and enterprise users
- Work closely with clinical advisors, customers, and partners to understand the needs of the market
- Maintain a solid understanding of the radiology software market and competitive landscape
- Contribute to prioritization of the overall product roadmap
- Define product and feature requirements for development scope (technical spec., epic scoping)
- Lead cross-functional, Agile development team in Product Owner role
- Define and create product marketing content to support product launch efforts
- Support Marketing team with product-specific expertise to support the building of brochures, websites, and other collateral
- Work closely with Marketing on the creation of launch plan and deliverables Support Sales team on product training, including support to OEM channels
- Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the engineering team
- Set priorities for the team, to ensure task completion
- Making sure decisions are guided by company policies, procedures, and business goals
- Drive performance of the team and is responsible for performance management based on organizational processes
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end PACS and working directly with radiologists on problems ranging from display protocols, image analysis tools, worklists, and other workflow aspects. Cardiac CT experience is an asset.
- The ideal candidate knows what makes non-academic radiologists tick and what it takes to deliver a compelling experience to radiologists at enterprise scale.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably with clinical experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Engineering, Design, or a related field
- Solid clinical and/or technical background, with hands-on experience in medical imaging, DICOM, and/or software development and web technologies
- Experience in Scrum & Kanban, ideally in JIRA or similar software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers across levels and functions
- Demonstrated organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
- Understanding of product development requirements in a regulated industry
- Experience building radiology imaging software or computer-aided diagnosis software strongly preferred
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve goals
