About the position:
The Foursquare product marketing team plays a massive role in the go-to-market strategy and helping to grow the business by bringing new products and features to market. This role will own the GTM strategy and product marketing of Foursquare’s Places product line that is used by millions of users and by some of the biggest brands. The product marketing team works extremely closely with many different functions of the business - including Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and more.
The role reports to the Director of Product Marketing.
Location: Foursquare has offices in NYC, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, and Seattle. All Foursquare employees have the flexibility to work in the office or from home. Candidates located in cities not listed above will be considered if they are a rockstar and can prove they can effectively work remotely.
In this role, you’ll:
Own go-to-market product launches: work with cross-functional teams to design and execute product launches, feature updates, and partnership integrations to enterprise clients.
Messaging & positioning: develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and articulates the unique value of our Enterprise products.
Market intelligence: be the expert on the category we play and the competitive landscape to help enable our GTM teams through battlecards, competitive intel, and more.
Customer marketing: craft compelling communications to our customer base that improves our NPS and encourages new sales conversations.
Sales enablement: create tools and collateral that support the customer journey - from presentations and case studies, to web content and blogs.
Strategic planning: partner with sales, product, sales operations, and marketing to develop and deploy annual and quarterly plans, aligned to the company's OKRs and strategic goals.
What you’ll need:
Are willing to bring your own unique talents and your own unique POV to the team.
Have relevant experience in or have a hunger to learn B2B marketing techniques for data and SaaS products.
Are able to market to and deeply understand technical personas - think data scientists, data analysts and developers.
Love to write and create content, and have a POV on how we can improve our content marketing and demand generation programs.
Are able to think analytically and use data and information to inform your thinking and strategy.
Perhaps most importantly, are extremely curious and love to ask thoughtful questions to learn and grow.
[bonus points] knowledge of the location, geospatial, or GIS industry landscape.
