Job Description Summary
The Senior Program Assistant provides program support for the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Initiative (E-Hub @ Bentley) through a variety of administrative tasks and workflow management. The role is both administrative and professional in nature. For a qualified candidate, the role provides an opportunity to contribute to building and growing an exciting initiative on the Bentley campus.
Essential Duties
  • Organize several types of events by working with a variety of entities including student groups, alumni, and faculty. Specific activities may include scheduling, registrations, room reservations, materials preparation and other logistics
  • Provide budget management across a variety of initiatives by reconciling expenditures, maintaining any credit card statements, processing invoices, reviewing any budgets for gifts, and other fiscal related duties
  • Support logistics and travel within and outside Greater Boston related to initiatives of the E-Hub for the director of the initiative, faculty, and students
  • Take a lead role in managing student workers
  • Working with marketing and communication, provide ongoing updates to the web presence, regular newsletter updates, and contact database management
  • Oversee data gathering and management needed to track the use of events and resources
  • Coordinate the efforts of internal and external stakeholders with guidance from the director of the E-Hub.
  • Other duties as assigned by director
Minimum Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate via phone, email, zoom and other mechanisms with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to grow and adapt to changes as the E-Hub operations continuously expand
Work Environment
  • Typical office setting with extensive sitting and computer work
  • Ability to travel within and outside of campus for meetings and other work related events. Travel may occur outside of normal business hours including nights and weekends
  • This position may include in-person as well as remote work accompanied by regular check-ins."
