TPI Composites is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Warren, RI.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, experience with the use of QA tools, and a passion for improving the quality of our products.
Duties include:
- Coach quality inspectors and production associates on QA/QC procedures and activities.
- Meaningfully contributes to or leads cross-functional improvement projects.
- Leads 8D/CAPA/RCA for customer and internal production issues.
- Prepares and revises AIAG Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams etc.
- Maintain ISO 9001/IATF 16949 based quality management system.
- Leads internal audits, support customer and third-party audits.
- Creates and modifies work instructions, quality alerts, etc.
- Contribute to the Engineering Changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology required, ASQ certification is a plus; and minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- APQP and PPAP hands on experience
- Understands principles of metrology and calibration.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Project Management.
- Computer proficiency including MS Office and SPC tools such as Minitab, JASP etc.
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
