Senior React JS Engineer - job 3 of 3

About the role:

SwagUp is looking for a Senior React JS Engineer. We encourage you to have and share your opinions, and to accelerate our development efforts with hands-on expertise. We need someone who is an expert in building user interfaces with React JS, as the central initiative will be to build a brand new administration portal for our Swagstronauts to manage things such as supply chain, fulfillment, and delivery of our Swag. In addition to this will be the continued maintenance and enhancement of our existing customer facing website.

What you'll do:

• Play a major role in helping to build out the development team with additional developers
• Take on the opportunity to have a lot of influence in how SwagUp “does” engineering
• Maintain and enhance existing customer facing website
• Help to develop new internal portal for administrative tasks pertaining to Swag
• Work with backend developers on the team to call APIs in order to

About you:

• 4+ years of experience in engineering with React JS
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field or comparable experience (i.e. coding bootcamp, etc)
• Familiarity with/understanding of data modeling & data structures
• Must know how to call APIs to manage data

Preferred Skills:

• Experience helping to build out a React framework (or other architecture experience)
• Experience in e-commerce systems and/or companies that produce physical products for customers
• Experience utilizing micro frontends
• Familiarity with .Net backend systems
