At SpringRidge, we're searching for an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our vibrant team! This role is fantastic for someone who is passionate about enriching the lives of residents living with cognitive decline and dementia. As the Activities Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of developing and initiating a comprehensive life enrichment program that truly makes a difference. Your day will typically run from 8 AM to 4 PM, with full-time and part-time positions available. While the position includes occasional weekend shifts, the rewarding interactions with our residents will certainly make it worthwhile! You'll create engaging activities and club dining services while ensuring that our setting remains clean, safe, and comfortable. We also place emphasis on family education, encouraging active participation, and ongoing training in dementia care. You'll work closely with our Activities Director to plan fun and meaningful programs that cater to each resident's interests. Also, your role will involve organizing excursions and ensuring that dining experiences enhance our residents' day-to-day lives. Previous experience with dementia care is essential, and a CNA background is a plus.
