Senior Sales Manager

What we're looking for

Reporting to the Expansion Sr Sales Director you will help build the team, drive account prioritization, help your AEs close transactions, and establish success measures. You will manage one manager and 4-6 individual contributors. This role's scope will grow throughout the year and will include adding 2 additional teams. As the scope grows in this role, the leveling of the role will also.

You will focus on building relationships with executive-level decision-makers, administrators and champions of our Momentive product suite. The expansion team will sell our entire product portfolio and manage the hierarchy of accounts within our customer base. You will focus on delivering training programs, improving customer satisfaction and promote account growth and renewals. As a member of the leadership team within our Enterprise and Customer Operations organization, you will also help collect and bring customer insights into our product development cycle.

You will

  • Coach a team of sales executives across all stage of the sales cycle, including outbound prospecting, lead qualification, consultative selling, and growing accounts
  • Manage one manager and support the success and growth of their team
  • Inspire and build confidence in your team members to sell our entire product portfolio
  • Promote operational excellence through pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and using data to recognize trends and improve business across all areas
  • Ensure customers obtain maximum value from their investment in SurveyMonkey, identify new opportunities, and grow current accounts

You have

  • 2+ years of relevant experience leading quota carrying sales organizations for enterprise software/SaaS product
  • 1+ years of account management experience as an individual contributor
  • CRM experience (particularly SFDC)
  • Enterprise sales expertise selling to a variety of buying personas in multiple industries (CX, MKTG, Sales, Customer Success, IT) and channels (Email, SMS, Digital, In-App)
  • Success selling to customers of all sizes and from all industries, including large corporations and governments organizations, and managing strategic relationships at the executive level

What we offer our employees

The base pay and on-target commission provided for this position ranges from $200,855 / year - $301,990 / year depending on geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.

Bonuses, commissions, and/or equity may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
