The Team:
Datadog’s Sales Operations team is seeking an innovative and passionate Salesforce expert, who will impact a rapidly growing environment and its connected third-party systems. This individual will proactively engage and support our internal customer needs and ensure we are delivering high quality solutions. They manage all CRM configuration, maintain existing features/products for the business, and partner with stakeholders to design and implement new global initiatives, and drive global quality improvement processes.
You Will:
- Combine Salesforce product expertise with business acumen and technical skill
- Partner with multi-functional teams: Sales, Channel and Alliances, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Product, Engineering, and Finance to streamline and optimize the processes related to Lead-to-Opportunity and Quote-to-Cash
- Lead and manage the design, configuration, and deployment of our medium complexity CRM and other modules to support sales and support automation
- Perform Salesforce administrator functions including maintenance/updates, system backups, security, roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure requirements are met. This includes tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance sign-off
- Ensure consistency across processes and systems that are being followed by the entire business through training, lunch and learn sessions, etc.
- Write design documentation and training materials supporting business needs
- Monitor user adoption rates and respond as needed (e.g., additional training sessions, well-organized & informative presentations)
- Mentor other members of the team to maximize the team’s overall productivity and effectiveness
You Are:
- BA/BS/Masters in Business, Engineering, or other quantitative field
- Minimum 5+ years of direct experience working with Salesforce administration
- Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features and best practices. Make recommendations to management regarding implementation as appropriate
- Knowledge of ETL integrations with connected databases
- Experience with Quote to Cash and Channel and Alliances processes in a SaaS & recurring revenue company
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Consultant or any other relevant certification
- Ability to mentor and coach other Salesforce admins.

- Experience migrating Salesforce Classic to Lightning UI
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing
- Experience with Salesforce Partner Communities
- Experience with Docusign customization
- Experience with Sales Engagement platforms
- Experience with Learning Management Systems
- Comfortable working in a SOX and Change Management focused environment
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Advanced Administrator or CPQ Specialist or Salesforce Consultant or any other relevant certification
