Senior Salesforce Engineer (Billing/Revenue Cloud)

Overview

Hyland is looking for an experienced Solution Engineer to join our Information Systems team. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and building solutions and integrations with Hyland’s Salesforce platform. Qualified candidates will have experience in Salesforce Revenue Cloud and Salesforce Billing, be knowledgeable in Salesforce declarative and programmatic customizations, integrations to other packages and applications in our ecosystem, will have experience interfacing with business stakeholders, and will thrive on building problem solving solutions for our business partners. What you will be doing

  • Design business applications based on feedback from product management, stakeholders, and customers, in which extensive experience and best practice knowledge is applied
  • Ensure all solutions are developed and documented in a manner that allows for ease of maintenance by our support team
  • Lead business analysis process with the customer where information about business process and concerns are gathered from key internal business stakeholders and best practice guidance is provided
  • Compose documentation outlining requirements for building the business application with minimal oversight from team members
  • Present documentation on business analysis and solution requirements to key business stakeholders for validation, buy-in and approval
  • Design, prototype, build and configure solution with minimal oversight from team members and according to best practices.
  • Test business applications and ensure performance is optimal and resolve any issues; advise business customer on testing practices
  • Compose training materials and conduct training sessions for end users, with minimal oversight from team members
  • Develop and distribute project plan; manage to project timelines and manage scope with guidance from team management
  • Identify, review and evaluate team identified enhancements to product functionality; escalate appropriate enhancement requests to evolve software
  • Identify third-party product enhancements or defects; contact vendors of third-party products to communicate product enhancements or defects
  • Transition key information to application support team to ensure continued successful support of internal business customer
  • Provide guidance to other team members
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy

What will make you successful

  • Experience administering Salesforce, including all declarative functionality
  • Experience with programmatic capabilities like apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components are required
  • Salesforce Billing experience required
  • Salesforce CPQ experience or experience with the quote and order process is preferred but not required
  • Significant experience in implementing integrations with managed packages and other business applications, especially Zoura and Workday.
  • Significant experience in business analysis and documenting functional requirements
  • Significant experience configuring and implementing a technical solution
  • Significant experience with assigned business applications
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
  • Strong at investigating situations or issues to get relevant information; adept at asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information
  • Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately manage project scope, compact project timelines and set customer expectations appropriately
  • Able to effectively manage a consistent customer-oriented project workload; effectively communicates project delays to management team and proactively seeks additional customer project work
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects and internal initiatives
  • Up to 5% travel time required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job

Based on Individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $120,000-150,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits.
