Senior Store Planning Project Manager / Architect, Richemont SWM Division, New York


Role Overview

Perform new openings, relocations and expansions of Fine Watchmaking Richemont stores for North America

Ensures with the regional team, contractors, consultants and vendors, in collaboration with HQ Store Design, that the boutiques are built or renovated to the Maison’s standards, on time and on budget for a selection of projects of SWM Maisons in North America


Responsibilities

  • Manage new construction, renovation, relocation on a selection of Projects across SWM Maisons:
  • Support Real Estate team in Store Planning and timing aspect of the Lease
  • Coordinate with SDP Maisons to collect the Design package on time in full to start project according Lease terms
  • Start projects with cost and feasibility assessment. Creating a cost structure with regards to a targeted price per square meter.
  • Prepare a draft timing based on the current design in collaboration with local & HQ responsible.
  • Shortlist Architects, General Contractors and Millworkers, prepare and organise bidding
  • Manage permitting and landlord validation process with the support of the Architect of Record
  • Collaborate with shop fitter and local contractors as well as ensuring all local approval guidelines
  • Organize weekly meeting and work site follow-up
  • Coordinate purchasing and construction to make sure time frame and budget are met
  • Coordinate building inspection, punch list completion and handover to retail team
  • Monitor costs and timeline to anticipate any changes
  • Partner with and interface with different departments such as Retail, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, IT, Security, Purchasing, Logistics and Market responsible.
  • Select and Maintain constant dialogue with vendors, local architects, suppliers and landlords
  • Enlarge portfolio of suppliers (Architects, Millworkers and GC) to absorb workload and improve cost
  • Propose Value Engineering and savings plan in collaboration with Local and Global Purchasing team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in architecture or interior design with a minimum experience of 5 years in a comparable Store Planning position in the US
  • Good knowledge on US Building Codes and regulations
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to handle a large volume of projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge in basic MS-office and strong experience in working with AutoCAD, MS-Project, Acrobat Professional
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to communicate with extended teams across 8 brands

Richemont offers a generous compensation and benefits package for eligible employees. Only candidates selected for further consideration will be contacted.


Expected Salary Range: $115,000 - $172,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
