Senior System Administrator

Position Overview:

Exabeam is seeking a qualified Senior System Administrator to provide expertise in the management of server and network infrastructures. TheSenior System Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement reliability in delivering mission-critical infrastructure systems and ensure the highest levels of availability, optimization, and security.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management – Perform day-to-day system administration duties on Linux and Windows servers across development, quality assurance, and production environments.
Access Management – Implement, administer, and maintain a highly available and scalable system within Microsoft Azure, GCP and AWS infrastructure services.
Network Management – Firewall, Network Segmentation, WiFi, DMZ, Load Balancers, VPC Perimeters, Network Infrastructure, Network Access Control.
BC/DR – Implement and perform capacity analysis. Configure, maintain, and support backup and redundancy strategies and solutions.
Compliance – Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls, including documentation of processes and training.
Physical Security – Ensure operation of physical security equipment and surveillance cameras.
Participate in on-call rotation with the Cyber Security & Infrastructure Operations team.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of supporting backend infrastructure technology and systems implementation experience
Working knowledge of administration of Linux and Windows Server administration
System hardening knowledge for Linux and Windows Operating Systems
Working knowledge of federated identity management and access control solutions – e.g., SAML, LDAP, Azure Active Directory, and Active Directory
Strong understanding of VPN
Strong understanding of WiFi connectivity troubleshooting
Strong understanding of advanced networking – e.g., VPCs, IPSec tunnels, VLANs, dynamic routing protocols, and packet inspection
Practical knowledge of Industry security standards and frameworks - e.g., NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2
Ability to analyze all layers of the OSI model from availability and security viewpoints

Desired Skills:

Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) design principles
Experience with HPE Aruba
Experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions
Working knowledge and experience with auditing of cloud infrastructure deployments
Python or other high level automation programming experience
