Senior Trade Support Analyst

Senior Trade Support Analyst will work as part of a small team and will be responsible for and participate in a variety of operational functions to ensure proper backup is in place in case of sickness or planned absence of other team members and to support influx of new business.

Your role and responsibilities will include

• Serve as senior member of Trade Support team, with responsibility for supporting the purchase, sale and holding of securities
• Coordinate the front to back trade/settlement cycle to support investment management activities
• Provide daily trade support to Front Office trading desks across core asset classes within global capital markets, including fixed income, FX, derivatives and OTCs
• Monitor trade flow and ensure that the execution of transactions between the Trading Desk, Middle Office, the counterparties and custodians are timely performed and actively monitored
• Document security transactions, including purchases, sales, conversions, redemptions, or payments, using in-house applications and prepare reports summarizing daily transactions and earnings for individual customer accounts
• Help manage client relationships, including communications with brokers and external partners
• Manage the relationship and quality of service of outsourced operations providers with front office internal business units, specifically with regard to perimeter of AXA IM Inc.
• Monitor and respond to requests from trading desks, including resolving any issues related to trade execution and managing execution risk and compliance
• Coordinate trade analyst team by ensuring the appropriate level of governance for core activities, workload balance and sufficient desk coverage
• Investigate all trade discrepancies (Mismatched Trades and Fails) with brokers and custodians. Determine underlying cause of the trade discrepancy and investigate and resolve in a timely manner

Your qualifications and experience

• Minimum of a BA/BS degree in finance or related field
• Fluent English language skills (both verbal and written)
• Five years minimum of experience in front to back trade/settlement cycle for an investment management company
• Experience in trade support across core asset classes (fixed income, FX and derivatives) within global capital markets
• Experience with setting up and providing data management for financial instruments
• Experience in client relationship management, including communications with brokers and external partners

Your knowledges and skills

• Strong knowledge in fixed income
• A strong working knowledge of Excel (VBA Skills are a plus)
