Our Client, a World recognised and iconic Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in rural Warwickshire is actively seeking an experienced Senior Visualisation Artist on a Contract to Permanent basis. On offer to the successful applicant is a negotiable, albeit based on relevant experience, hourly rate and basic salary together with full benefits commensurate with this leading employer.

Their multi award-winning Design department is where every car starts it journey. Whether its sketching initial concept ideas, creating scale clay models, developing the next generation of exterior, interior and CMF design or using CGI wizardry to produce stunning images and video, their small, diverse team are constantly shaping the future of the automotive industry.

The Digital artist who will join their expanding team will be proficient in creating outstanding digital assets to primarily support the requirements of the Q Department with ad hoc support for the Marketing and Design departments. You will thrive in working as part of a unique team, bringing experience of creating high quality photo realistic stills. You’ll be knowledgeable in the techniques to prepare, create and deliver these assets for approval. Experience in customer/client meetings would be a benefit.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks will include:

• Build and maintain master Vis files for all vehicle projects in development and existing production cars.

• Prepare easy to use VIS files for use in creating Q Customer images and animations.

• Show exceptional skills in Data prep, UV & texturing, lighting and rendering assets to a deadline.

• Carry out special projects as directed by management.

• Create, iterate and develop new Vis environments.

• You will excel in creating unique materials & shaders and be proficient at replicating Digital twins of physical samples.

• Create and maintain master material library.

• Proactive approach to work and group interaction.

Essential Requirements

• Prior experience working in Automotive design is a requirement, 5 years minimum experience.

• Detailed understanding of the automotive design process with experience working through creative concept phase as well as production delivery phase.

Qualifications & Experience ideally required:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent engineering related discipline.

• Expert with V-Red Design / Pro and VR Expert with Adobe Suite, Microsoft office software suite

• The candidate will have a positive, highly flexible and adaptable mindset, able to cope with occasional periods of short deadlines and high workload

• Presentation and communication skills essential

• 3D modelling skills a bonus

• Alias, Unreal, Maya & Vray and Blender familiarity/ experience would be beneficial
