What are we looking for?

This is a rare opportunity to expand the business intelligence foundation for a rapidly growing global organization! You’ll be working on an industry-leading Data Analytics Team, shaping SentinelOne's ability to make faster, high-confidence business decisions based on data, analytics, and insights.  We are looking for positive energy and sincerity in working with stakeholder teams to refine & develop requirements and understand & document quantified business value.  A great candidate will be solution oriented, and is willing to embrace a global team dynamic, global stakeholder dynamic and who also values outcomes & impacts as key factors in their measurement of success.

What will you do?

  • Hands-on build of reporting & visualization solutions that enable both external product and internal reporting/growth needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions.
  • Data modeling and creation of ERDs (entity relationship diagrams)
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and clarify specific requirements, objectives, and decisions to be made as the result of your work. 
  • Create and maintain documentation, including requirements, design, and Glossary terms + definitions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders including product teams, data scientists, and internal functions (sales, marketing, support, finance, etc.) to gather, develop and clarify specific requirements, objectives, and decisions to be made as the result of your work. 
  • Work closely with data engineering team for data availability, structures and pipeline refresh rates to ensure reports/dashboard SLAs match.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using any one of the following industry tools: Tableau, Data Studio, Looker.  Proficiency in these is a must in descending order.
  • Work with data sets in the hundreds of petabytes scale

What skills & knowledge should you bring?

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Developing business relevant reports & dashboards based on crisp requirements.
  • Requires hands-on professional experience with Tableau (must), Data Studio and Looker (Very nice to have).
  • Requires hands-on professional experience working with GCP and Big Query as the primary consumption source.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge, including objects development, performance tuning, data analysis, and integration.
  • Hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience strongly preferred.
  • Big data experience, ideally working with large data sets in the petabytes scale.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and requirements.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and change management skills, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies as the organization determines.
  • Strong ability to establish clear requirements in this role and accurately evaluate effort size/duration for completion, as well as identify dependencies.
  • Robust problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting skills
You should be also willing to take real-time expertise testing & skills evaluation as part of the interview process.
