Service Desk Manager - Warehouse

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, encompassing a proven track record demonstrating the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams toward achieving organizational goals.
  • Prior experience and passion for developing people to their full potential through coaching, mentoring, and servant leadership.
  • Ability to think creatively and recognize and encourage creativity in others.
  • Be self-motivated with the aptitude to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate ability to gather requirements, including problem definition, requirements elicitation, and impact analysis on complex projects spanning multiple stakeholder communities. Must be able to coach team through this process.
  • Capable of communicating appropriate level of process and technical detail across different organizations and hierarchies.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications
  • Excellent customer service, communication and analytical skills.
  • Positive, professional, team player attitude.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Technical aptitude with a focus on continuous learning and development.

Manager, Warehouse Technology Support
Responsibilities:
  • Assist and guide the team in supporting warehouse technology hardware globally
  • Provide leadership in accordance with WWT's core values and management principles.
  • Serve as a working supervisor and champion of team's products & services to other units in IT and business users
  • Direct the work of self and others on a number of multiple tasks concurrently; Respond positively to directional change and coach others on how to do the same
  • Serve as a liaison between the business and IT for warehouse technology efforts
  • Assist in the development of strategic planning for the team through road mapping
  • Prepare and deliver informal and formal presentations to team, department, other IT teams, and business partners.
  • Mentor team to take complex problems and break them down into well-organized, logical, and detailed components to facilitate problem solving.
  • Encourage others to strive for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in gathering and preparing performance feedback for team members.
  • Proactively seek relevant training and developmental opportunities for self and direct reports.
  • Drive support, documentation, and training best practices to promote cross training and team growth.
  • Occasionally assist in the Configure configuration and deployment of warehouse specific IT equipment and solutions (Zebra label printers, HP paper printers, Kronos timeclocks, Zebra barcode scanners).
  • Manage warehouse IT equipment via Zebra Printer Profile Manager Enterprise (PPME) and Workspace One.
  • Advise the business on solutions based on current warehouse technology.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends in warehouse technology
  • Log and update incidents via ServiceNow, our ticket tracking application
  • Assist in the delivery, installation, and setup of new or reallocated technology.
  • Leverage internal (knowledge base) and external (support sites) resources to answer questions and resolve incidents.
