Position Summary

Arcesium is seeking a highly motivated Services Relationship Manager (VP) to join our Financial Operations team. In this role, you will partner with our clients to deeply understand their business needs and challenges, working together to deliver solutions with best-in-class service. As a Relationship Manager, you will be part of a team of seasoned finance professionals, collaborating to ensure the success of Arcesium's client base. Each Relationship Manager will be assigned a portfolio of clients, which can include hedge funds with varying trading strategies, providing exposure to multiple asset classes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients' day-to-day and month-end operations and accounting requirements, which encompass profit and loss computation, position and cash reconciliations, trade settlements, break investigation, lifecycle events, and month-end trade accounting.
  • Establish trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, such as CFO, COO, Head of Ops, and actively lead client meetings.
  • Engage in negotiations, management, and monitoring of client service level agreements (SLAs), while closely reviewing relevant metrics.
  • Proactively engage with clients to keep them informed about industry and regulatory best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to contribute to the development of tailored solutions for immediate client needs and long-term product roadmaps.
  • Work closely with international colleagues as part of the Financial Operations team to strategically solve the most complex challenges faced by clients and ensure the provision of the highest quality client service.
  • Conduct critical reviews to identify and enhance operational processes, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to clients while maintaining adequate controls.
  • Assist in managing client profitability by collaborating with Arcesium's Account Management and Finance team to establish, oversee, and implement client budgets on an annual basis.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to engage prospective clients.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in operations, accounting, or client service within the hedge fund, investment management, or financial services industry.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, capable of multitasking and collaborating effectively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of client and business relationships. Confident, articulate and persuasive speaker.
  • Critical thinking skills, enabling effective operation within an innovative and forward-thinking business environment.
  • Exposure to a wide range of asset classes and markets, including complex derivative instruments, is highly desirable.
  • Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is an added advantage.

The expected annual base salary for this position is $175,000-$215,000. Our compensation package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401k contribution matching.

The applicable annual base salary paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
