Servicing Investor Reporting Analyst

What you'll do:
The Servicing Investor Reporting Analyst is responsible for the flow of data and cash settlements between AmeriHome, its sub-servicers, and non-Agency purchasers of whole loans.

Responsibilities

Account Reconciliations
-
Perform multiple reconciliations accurately and on time including bank accounts and investor accounts. Communicate exceptions with appropriate parties, and work with internal peers to initiate the settlement of cash if needed.

Identify and resolve reconciliation differences within the account time frame by working with the appropriate internal/external parties to resolve differences.

Drive the automation of reconciliations using internal systems. Will need to partner with internal departments to initiate change.

Assist in the monthly review and reconciliation of repurchases.

Service Release

Scratch and Dent loans
-
Work directly with the buyer and seller to coordinate the transfer of servicing of loan(s) from one service to another. Must understand the sales agreement to ensure a successful transfer.

Ensure all RESPA requirements are fulfilled and that the final reporting and cash settlement take place within the agreed-upon time frame.

Be able to work through issues that arise and escalate appropriately.

Whole loan trades, MSR, and Repurchases

Establish relationships with buyers and coordinate service release schedules with AmeriHome’s sub servicers and subsequent servicers.

Complete the final reconciliation at the time of transfer and remit P&I collections to the new servicer. Ensure that the sub-servicer remits T&I funds timely.

Create interim reporting and initiate the remittance when contractually obligated.

Retained Non-Agency Sales

Establish non-Agency relationships with sub-servicers as new agreements are executed. This includes setting up the new investor numbers which contain all criteria that are set out in the servicing contract.

Oversee sub-servicers’ delivery of reports and remittances to non-Agency investors, validating timeliness and accuracy.

Fielding the questions that arise, completing the necessary research, and responding in an appropriate time frame.

Repurchases

Coordinate and validate the investor repurchase calculations from AmeriHome’s sub-servicers and calculate the seller repurchase amounts on loans that are being repurchased by AmeriHome and/or by the loan originator.

Maintain repurchase tracking, initiate repurchase wires, and ensure that the loan is being serviced by the correct party.

Sub-servicer Invoice

Review monthly invoices for service release charges.

Identify any discrepancies, and review results monthly with the manager.

Other

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Related Field Preferred; High School Diploma or GED Required

3+ years mortgage servicing experience with a focus on Transfer Operation
-
Experience with Black Knight (MSP) is preferred

Basic understanding of financial reconciliation and balancing

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Proficiency in SQL

Clear and concise communication skills

Must be able to multi-task, detail-oriented, have analytical and critical thinking skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and as a team player
Compensation Information
Salary hiring range is generally $69,299– 85,604. Salary amount reflects Westlake Village, CA, salary is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
