SewerAI is an AI and data management platform that is improving the speed, effectiveness and cost for cities and engineering firms to manage infrastructure.  Our cutting edge AI lowers the total cost of ownership of cities’ infrastructure by reducing the dirty, dull and dangerous work that must be done to maintain infrastructure.


About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our scaling Sales and Business Development team. Your primary responsibility is to identify and reach out to prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and social media. As a front-line representative, you will create the first impression prospects have of SewerAI and make a lasting and positive impact on potential customers.



What You'll Do
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through various channels (phone calls, emails, LinkedIn) to identify potential customers.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the BDM/AE team.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs and educate them on our product offerings.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, tracking all interactions in CRM software (Salesforce).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead-generation campaigns and strategies.
  • Research target industries and markets to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of sales materials and presentations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an SDR, sales, or customer-facing role (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to engage and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Goal-oriented with a drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales prospecting tools (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, GovSpend)
  • Knowledge of AI and data management platforms (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing) or equivalent experience.


Nice to Haves
  • Experience in a similar field such as construction, civil engineering, or a related industry.


$100,000 - $110,000 a year
$100,000 - $110,000 total OTE per year

Salary range listed is for a fully remote position. Additional compensation is available for candidates who live in the San Francisco Bay Area and are able to work in our Walnut Creek office 1-2 days per week.

The compensation range provided is in compliance with state specific laws. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate of pay include your specific skills, years of experience and other factors.
