Sewing Machine Operator - job 2 of 2

An outstanding Sewing Machine Operator will be able to repair minor problems affecting their equipment to include replacing a needle and thread as necessary. You should be able to decide on techniques before commencing task.

Meeting with Quality and Manager to determine each job requirement.

Performing alterations or creating your own.

Select the suitable thread and placing it on the spool spin. Affixing buttons, zippers, clasps, laces and similar fittings.

Operating the foot pedals plus stitch length and width regulators as you sew.

Detecting and repairing basic faults with the sewing machine as they occur.

Scheduling repairs for the sewing machine and its fittings as they occur.
