SFE Training Specialist

About the Role:

This role will organize and track SFE training for consistency and adherence to pre-established guidelines, including authoring software, needs assessment apps, and post-training feedback. This role will provide reports on sales enablement trends, themes, and needs and follow-up to ensure training is enhanced when needed. This role will:

  • Support learning design and development for each Business Unit and country as needed.
  • Streamline learning processes to support business units and the country’s needs.
  • Identify sales enablement performance gaps and priorities by country and business unit and track the progress of enhancements.
  • Compile monthly training reports.
  • Design sales training dashboards for local SFE Training Manager Training programs and manage language translations.
  • Verify training record accuracy and suggest process improvements.
  • Compile Sales Force Excellence newsletters monthly.
  • Support national sales meetings, new sales training, and other essential learning events to orchestrate sales enablement skill development with marketers and clinicians.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Needs Assessment – Continual review of sales learning needs and provide recommendations for new innovative approaches to design, update, and improve learning, knowledge transfer, and field application. Analyze needs assessment themes and prepare presentations for business units.
  • Review local training designed by SFE Managers for consistency, determine core topics in each program to minimize redundancy, and ensure consistency globally.
  • Provide clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables to adapt content delivery mode for maximum impact.
  • Ensures all training content fully complies with the Medical Regulatory and Legal process and ConvaTec guidelines having everything approved through the appropriate channels.

About You:

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, dig in and support our sales team's training needs? You're a superior communicator who understands managing relationships with multi-level stakeholders. A natural project manager who manages multiple training projects and knows how to deliver despite aggressive timelines. Alongside your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate data insights and assess sales training that prepares sales professionals to support their customer's needs.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred; certification in Instructional Design a plus; expertise in a business unit a plus. Passion for sales training is essential.
  • 2+ years’ experience leading Field Sales training initiatives and learning and development projects using learning technologies and proven adult learning theory.
  • 2+ years’ experience in medical device or healthcare services industry field sales is a plus.
  • Articulate 360 authoring software expertise and learning reinforcement experience are a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiencies in the entire Microsoft Suite.

Sales Capability Expertise:

  • Ensures sales employees and leaders gain new skills to deliver messages that engage and resonate with customers.
  • Connects with sales professionals and leaders' needs and advocates on learning solutions that optimize their ability to sell to customers.
  • Remains current in advancements on various topics to provide the most effective delivery of materials, including CRM, business analytics, insights, and Showpad.
  • Engages in the ongoing development of technology training to maintain content expert status.
  • Partners with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to enhance their presentations.

Working Conditions:

  • This position requires computer expertise to lead learning events virtually in a classroom setting.
  • This position may require training room setup and repositioning in a corporate office or event meeting room location.
  • Remote office environment; however, there may be requirements to work on-site training others due to COVID-19 or other factors.
