We are seeking a highly motivated Content and Community Manager to join our dynamic, committed and deeply entrepreneurial Marketing team. In this highly visible role, the Content and Community Manager will help develop and manage content that supports the company’s Health and Wellness vertical.
THE WORK
As a member of the Marketing team, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the role will manage the overall content strategy for the emerging Flow brand. The role includes both production and distribution of such content. The Content & Community Manager will collaborate closely with editorial, branded content, social media and design teams. The role will also work closely with our Health Advisory Board and Health Cohort within the Collective to source and create credible content. This includes aggregating content from SheKnows, when relevant, to the Flow subsite, producing original content, independently and with our expert partners, for the Flow digital channels. The role will also track and research women’s health research and news to extract the health issues and services impacting women today.
The ideal candidate will be driven, self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about creating best-in-class content and developing a deeply loyal community. The candidate should understand the digital media space, publishing, social media and content marketing. She/he must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with external contributors. The role will be responsible for developing a newsletter strategy, building the Flow brand on social platforms, and developing relationships with external contributors.
The role will develop, execute, and market content related to the health vertical, especially via email marketing and social media. S/he will represent the SHE Health and Wellness vertical by way of outward-facing communications. S/he will develop strategies to reach potential experts via content marketing, creating and promoting editorial and social content.

Typical wage range: 65k -80k
Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits. PMC is committed to the health and wellness of our employees. As part of our company-wide rollout of PMC’s paid healthcare plan, the company will pay 100% of the monthly health, dental and vision plan premiums for the employee and their family.
