Quality & Food Safety Manager, Food Mfg.
Shearer's is a leading contract manufacturer in the snack industry seeking a Quality & Food Safety Manager to lead our quality assurance and food safety program at our Perham facility.
Skills
- Knowledge of Food Safety regulations
- Direct experience with food industry production audits
- Strong leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Manage the Quality and Food Safety function at the facility.
- Serve as SQF Practitioner and site FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual.
- Manage programs to verify, validate Food Safety Pre-requisite programs.
- Monitor, support, and enforce food safety processes and procedures.
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, engineering, or related field
