Menchie's Frozen Yogurt is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. Menchie's Frozen Yogurt plays a key role in providing these services by assisting with daily activities in the daily activities of our clients’ manufacturing plants.

Position Description:

The Shift Leader is responsible for supervising staff and directing activities within a shift. The Shift Leader supervises employees within the shift and provides guidance and direction to all employees. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong sense of leadership. Supervision and direction will be provided to employees within the shift, as well as training and development for new and existing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies to increase production, efficiency and quality control
• Implement performance reviews for all staff members
• Assist with training of new employees
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Provide feedback to staff members with negative impacts on performance
• Explore ways to promote employee motivation and behavior by setting a schedule that allows for breaks and hours between shifts
• Take the initiative to solve problems when they arise
• Report all issues to management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
