Shift Supervisor

Performance Pipe, a division of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP, a multi-plant manufacturer of polyethylene pipe and extrusion products, has an opportunity for a Shift Supervisor in our Knoxville, TN plant that will report to the Plant Superintendent.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous supervisory experience and/or experience as a lead operator in a pipe manufacturing facility
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, mechanical aptitude, and analytical skills plus be Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Must take an active, hands-on role in the production process, utilizing initiative, planning, organizing, motivational and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will promote and ensure a safe working environment with quality results. Responsible for directing/supervising/motivating a team of employees to produce expected results while optimizing assets, inventory, equipment, and manpower. Must be willing to work alternating shifts, including nights and weekends.
