Michelin has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Shipping & Receiving Clerk in the Warehouse department. This is a Permanent, full-time position. Working hours will be 3pm – 1130pm.
General Description:
Performs manual and clerical duties related to receiving and shipping products in/out of the plant and into our SAP system.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Count parts on incoming shipments.
-
Perform counts to compare the packing slip and physical product received.

Perform SAP migo’s to put material into SAP.
-
Paperwork all outbound shipments through our SAP system.

Ensure all service order requirements are shipped on time.

Ensure all material to all customers is picked, packed and shipped on time.

Schedule trucks for all outbound customer shipments.
-
Tag all material with appropriate label for stock put away.

Coordinate incoming inspection with QA team to ensure parts are ok to be put away.

Sign for all packages coming into building.

Work with material handling team to help put material away.

Take packing slips to appropriate departments.

Investigate issues with packing slips vs deliveries.
-
Daily interaction via e-mail & phone with internal materials team.

Daily interaction with shipping team and other key employees within the facility.

Willingness to cross train into other departments.

Comply with company policies and procedures.

Support the EMS, QMS & H&S systems.

Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Overtime will be required from time to time, and this may require weekends.

Education & Experience:
-
High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
-
Valid driver’s license.
-
Fork truck certification and material handling experience preferred.

Customer Service experience.
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software. SAP experience is a plus.

Warehouse environment knowledge.
-
Complete individual work assignments within an assigned timeline.

Demonstrate proficiency in day-to-day responsibilities of the position.

Ability to take ownership and to successfully manage various projects at the same time.

Self-motivated; takes initiative and works with a minimum of supervision.
-
Team player: works cooperatively with others to solve problems and willingly helps others when assistance is needed.

Strong knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.
