Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Materials Handler located in El Paso, TX.
Reporting to the Distribution Center Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Materials Handler is responsible for performing the physical or combined administrative/physical tasks involved in the storing, counting and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Packages, receives, ships and moves materials through warehouse process by performing the following duties.
What a typical day looks like:
  • Check to ensure if material was delivered correctly.
  • Moves pallet to holding area and sort material by product type.
  • Ensure travel card remains with part and label and route packages accordingly.
  • Package material for shipment ensuring accuracy of product and paperwork.
  • Stock material on shelves ensuring accuracy neatness.
  • May assist in training new employees in work procedures and rules.
  • Verifies goods received against bills of lading, purchase orders, or other documents.
  • Gives work leadership to other logistics associates and may serve as lead.
  • Communicates with inspectors, buyers, production personnel, and materials group.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Warehouse/Material Handling experience.
  • Has awareness of Shipping and Receiving techniques.
  • May require ability to operate telephones, data entry equipment, forklifts, electronic scales, pallet jacks, RFID scanners and staple guns and to perform cycle counting and kitting.
