SHIPPING CLERK - PART-TIME
Responsibilities
- Communicate with transportation companies to schedule pick up of goods, obtain pricing for various means of transport and when necessary, arrange for rush shipments.
- Prepare export papers.
- Invoice all shipments, tooling, samples and rawstock
- Send ASN’s for automotive customers.
- Verify no ASN failures daily.
- Send fax forwarding to required customers.
- Prepare pick lists for shipping personnel.
- Confirming pick list and putting all paperwork together.
- Type all bill of ladings.
- Separate bill of lading and packing lists so that everyone gets necessary copies.
- Get customer service copies coded and lined up ready for filing.
- Obtain proof of deliveries.
- Verify no ASN failures daily.
- Misc. filing, answering phone, other clerical duties.
- Help with physical inventory.
- Document cycle count process / results for finished goods warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have knowledge of Export documents and ITN numbers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
- Specified Years of Industry-relevant professional experience
- Relevant certifications, system experience, and training
- High level of commitment and flexibility
- Agility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment
- Professional-Level English language skills preferred
- Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
