Metal Shop Assistant needed in Green Bay, WI! 1st shift!

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Shop Assistant to add to our client’s growing team!

The Shop Assistant will be responsible for operating various types of manual machinery to assist in the production process. The Shop Assistant will operate machinery such as grinding and deburring equipment, coil rewinders, manual punch press, and standard hand and power tools. Experience operating all equipment listed is not required and you will be trained. Additional duties will include packaging finished materials, inventory tracking, and other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, contract to hire opportunity, with a well-established organization in Green Bay, WI! The standard shift hours are Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm, with overtime available. Starting wage ranges based on experience level, $20-22/hr.

• 2+ years experience in an industrial/metal fab shop environment, preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints, required.
• Manual machine operating experience, strongly preferred.
• Experience using micrometers and calipers, preferred.
• Team player with a strong work ethic
