We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to lead our new AI development team. This will be a technical role developing applications as well as leading the small team providing mentoring and guidance to your team. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems to benefit our development organizations.Responsibilities:• Lead small team as well as technical contributions/development focused on AI/ML projects.• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications and services using contemporary programming languages, frameworks, and tools for both front-end and back-end development.• Lead the software production process, taking ownership of assigned features from inception to completion, including mockups, design documents/reviews, acceptance testing, and deployment.• Lead in data collection, preprocessing, and analysis to support model training and validation.• Mentor and collaborate with entry-level AI developers to ensure knowledge sharing and education.• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of AI applications.• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI research and technology to contribute innovative ideas to the team.• Document code, processes, and results for future reference and knowledge sharing.Requirements:• BSc, MSc, or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, preferably with an AI/ML focus• 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing AI and ML-based applications across diverse industries.• Strong understanding of concepts in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning with skills to put concepts into practice.• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, and/or JavaScript.• Hands-on experience with popular machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).• Demonstrate understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.• Show passion for developing simple, clean, and appealing code.• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Transform the EverydayThe salary range for this position is $121,400 to $218,500 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
