Communications Partner - Technology

Here’s what you’ll be doing:


You will be working as part of the Technical Operations team here at Simply Business, supporting the Head of Shared Services Operations and ShS leadership to develop our comms and build our ShS community in line with our strategy. The role will also have an external lens - building our external brand as well as our internal one



As one of our Communications Partner, you’ll:
  • create and execute the communication plans, aligned to the strategy, using a variety of innovative channels and tools that resonate with a tech audience working in a hybrid manner
  • craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate and build on the progress across the Shared Services and wider teams
  • build an external brand as an innovative InsureTech company utilising social media and events
  • deliver communications expertise across the organisation, including individual coaching and consultation to drive improvements to comms
  • measure the effectiveness of communications messages and channels regularly and make recommendations to review and adjust the communications strategy and tactics as appropriate
  • present communications strategies and results to senior leadership, demonstrating the impact of communications efforts on the comms objectives.


We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Able to develop and implement impactful communication and marketing strategies for an insurtech company
  • An excellent writer with with strong verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels 
  • Passionate about strategic storytelling and building strong tech identities
  • Both collaborative and team-oriented, whilst being able to work with senior stakeholders independently
  • A resourceful project manager with exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously to deadline
  • Experienced with data analysis and performance tracking to delivery measurable impact 
  • A proactive self-starter, full of creative ideas and a curiosity to try out new innovative approaches e.g. with AI
  • An adaptable collaborator who navigates dynamic situations with ease and thrives in a supportive and growth-oriented culture.
