The Opportunity As a company that is undergoing significant growth, Simpplr is seeking to hire an experienced Renewals Manager. This is the first hire for a... Renewals Manager and would be reporting directly to the VP Customer Success. In this role, you will be ultimately responsible for owning and executing renewal contracts for our existing customers. You will bring 5 - 7 years of experience in managing renewals and/or negotiation contracts and fully understand the SaaS contracting process You will be creative with approaches to minimize revenue loss, identify expansion opportunities and secure mutually favorable terms with our customers. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to operate independently while working closely with counterparts in Customer Success and Sales. Conducting a smooth, efficient, and effective renewal process is important to ensure a positive customer experience. Your Job Responsibilities What you will be doing: Own, drive and lead all renewal process and negotiations to achieve company's retention goal Review and produce renewal contract terms and conditions to ensure company wide consistency Actively engage with Customer Success Managers to establish a strategy, understand details, history and current state of accounts Prepare monthly forecasting reports, risk assessments and status updates Validate contract terms and reconcile SFDC details with financial reports Leverage customer data, analytics to assess the health of each renewal Accurately maintain a forecast and communicate any renewal risk to Customer Success leadership in order to develop solutions Discover and identify up-sell or cross-sell opportunities Leverage renewal process to identify other stakeholders, competitive threats etc. Track progress of renewals (calls, emails, internal discussions) using SFDC for transparency Produce and manage add-on transactions Manage price negotiations with customers and drive price increases and secure multi-year terms where applicable Continuously evaluate and improve the renewal process to ensure excellent customer experience and to scale with the company's growth Help create a renewal process that ensures a smooth customer experience Your Skillset What makes you a great fit for the team: 5 years renewal experience at a SaaS company Experience at a start-up Very familiar with the renewal process for SaaS products Working knowledge of SFDC is preferred Sharp written and verbal communication skills Ability to negotiate and work with various levels and roles in an organization (Individual Contributors to C-Level, Business Users and Procurement) Independent worker with strong work ethic, ability to be resourceful, and stay motivated through ambiguity Benefits: Simpplr provides a competitive compensation package along with other benefits.
