We are looking for a motivated, impact-driven, and experienced Data Analytics Team Leader to guide our data analysis and business intelligence group. This role will lead a team of analysts and data engineers, overseeing our data infrastructure and collaborating directly with executive leadership. Including the CEO, CMO, CCO, COO, and VPs across Product, Marketing, and R&D. As a data-focused company, we value analytical insights at every level. We’re looking for a player coach who will empower their team to generate high-impact insights while staying hands-on with our unique, data-rich environment.
What You Will Do
Player-coach: Drive high-level impact while staying close to the data, guiding and mentoring your team on projects spanning real-time to batch data for various departments.
Enable Data-Driven Decisions: Collaborate across departments—including Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, and Finance—to support their data needs and deliver actionable insights that advance business objectives.
Develop and Maintain Infrastructure: Build, manage, and elevate data models, dashboards, and reports that support the organization's analytics goals.
Grow the Team: Attract top talent to expand the team, balancing new hires with internal talent to support a scalable, high-impact data environment.
Support Strategic Insights: With the foundational infrastructure, work with the executive team to drive strategic initiatives, proactively exploring opportunities through advanced analytics.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of hands-on experience in analytics roles, ideally in product and/or marketing data
At least 1 year of experience leading analytics teams, with a passion for team-building and mentorship
Advanced SQL skills with proven experience in analyzing and visualizing large datasets
Proficiency in Python, with the ability to utilize existing ETL/ELT infrastructure
Being familiar with Airflow is an advantage
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, is a plus
Strong learning agility and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into insights for a broad audience
Background in digital analytics is required, and experience in AdTech is an advantage
